A Year in First Lines

This is a fun meme- the first line of the first post of each month of the year. I laughed all over again about the February post, in which I told Ben that it wasn't I but the Wisdom of the Ages who was nagging him.

Happy 33rd birthday to Ben today, and Happy New Year to everyone tomorrow!

January: Happy New Year!

February: This morning I woke up to the sound of Ben crying out in pain.

March: I'm about halfway done with my sermon/speech thing for tomorrow night, which means I'm only halfway panicked.

April: You scored as Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan.

May: I tried to be a big jerk today, but I just couldn't do it.

June: This bothers me. Jesus = Easy Button?

July: Atticus has a very floppy upper lip.

August: Why, it's my big sister, Marie!

September: So, I let a few meta-bloggy things pass without mention.

October: Read on.

November: We're having a virtual book release party for Elizabeth - The Scrapbooker's Almanac hits the bookstands!

December: I'm still working on Lara's prayer shawl (the one that was her March 2005 birthday present).
