Honest Testimony: A Review of Any Day a Beautiful Change

Fidelia's Sisters published its review of Any Day a Beautiful Change today. I am so grateful to Erica Schemper for her thoughtful reading. Yes, Erica is in my writing group, and therefore was more involved with the writing and revision process than a reviewer would normally be. But everybody concurred that Fidelia's was going to say nice things about my book, no matter what, so we weren't too worried about any possible bias.

She touches on some of my deepest hopes and fears about the book, and her assessment is wonderfully affirming.

The struggles Pershey reveals, both in becoming a mother and in repairing a marriage, could come off as sensational, but instead are the backdrop for a good story about God acting in people’s lives. It’s not a tell-all book. It’s not a confession. It’s testimony.
